Thrifty Pharmacy has been independently owned and operated for more than 40 years. Our goal is to go above and beyond the traditional pharmacy structure and provide our patients with total health consultations, individualized medication reviews, and 24-hour emergency service. Patient care is our top priority. You will never get an automated machine when you call us.
In addition to filling prescriptions, we also offer specialized compounding and rentals of walkers and wheelchairs. Our product line consists of mobility equipment and diabetic supplies, vitamins, mineral and herb supplements, and various home medical equipment. If we don't have what you need, we are happy to special order those hard-to-find items for you.

Dani first worked for Thrifty Pharmacy right out of pharmacy school. She then bought the pharmacy in 1999. She is passionate about superb customer service and is intentional about treating everyone that walks through the pharmacy doors like family. She lives in Piedmont with her husband Bob and their two golden retrievers Piper and Baxter.

Sallie has worked for Thirty Pharmacy for over 20 years. Sallie has developed meaningful relationships with people throughout her time at Thrifty and she has never met a stranger. Sallie loves to travel the world, play the piano, and love on her 4 grandchildren as often as possible!

Nic came to work for Thrifty Pharmacy in 2015 after graduating from OU. Patients are drawn to Nic's caring demeanor. Nic enjoys going to OU football games and spending time with his wife and their three young children.
EMILY BUERSMEYER, PHARM.D.

Emily has worked for Thrifty for 13 years after getting her pharmacy degree from SWOSU. Her sweet and caring personality makes her an excellent and compassionate pharmacist. Emily met her husband through Thrifty Pharmacy and they now have three daughters.
TERESA HARRIS, PHARM.D.
PHARMACIST
Teresa has more that 16 years of pharmacy experience. She started out as a pharmacy cashier and worked her way to technician. She finished pursuing her dream of becoming a pharmacist and graduated from OU in 2015. Teresa is grateful to be at Thrifty Pharmacy as a pharmacist who cares about more than just her patients' medications. She and her husband have been married for over 20 years and together they are raising 2 boys.
